CanadaTaxCalculator.ca is a free set of sales tax calculators for every Canadian province and territory. It's built to do one job well: give you the right GST, HST, PST or QST amount quickly, on any device, with the math shown.

How we keep rates accurate

Every rate on this site comes from an official source: the Canada Revenue Agency for GST and HST, and the relevant provincial authority for PST, RST and QST (the BC Ministry of Finance, Manitoba Finance, the Saskatchewan Ministry of Finance and Revenu Québec). Each page links to its sources and shows the date the rates were last checked. Rates were last verified on October 9, 2026.

When a province announces a change, we update the calculator to take effect on the official date.

What this site isn't

The calculators handle standard rates. They don't account for every exemption, rebate, special rate or transitional rule. For anything beyond a standard calculation, check with the CRA, your provincial tax authority or a qualified accountant.
