When is the next GST payment?

The October 2026 payment was issued on October 5. The next payment is due in early January 2027; the CRA has not yet published the exact date. Payments come four times a year, in January, April, July and October.

What is the Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit?

It's the new name for the GST/HST credit from July 2026. Eligibility and the way it's calculated are the same, but amounts rose 25% for five years, from 2026 to 2031.

How much is the GST credit for July 2026 to June 2027?
